with Tony Armstrong
Fed up with excuses and failed campaigns, broadcaster and former AFL star Tony Armstrong goes on a global search for real solutions to racism in Australian sport.
End Game with Tony Armstrong is a bold three-part investigative documentary series for the ABC. The former AFL player turned award-winning broadcaster sets out on a global mission to confront racism in Australian sport, and, more importantly, to find solutions that can drive real, systemic change across the country's major sporting codes.
From the grassroots to the elite level, Tony travels across Australia and around the world, to London, Manchester, Liverpool and the United States, speaking with athletes, coaches, leaders and organisations who are driving change. Along the way he sits down with sporting figures including Sydney Swans champion Adam Goodes and Manchester United and England captain Rio Ferdinand, exploring the power of athlete activism, uncovering breakthrough AI technology that tracks online hate, and challenging the codes to take stronger action.
More than an investigation, the series is a rallying cry for a fairer, more inclusive sporting culture, including the case for Australia's first players coalition, a united group of high-profile athletes working together for a fairer society for all.
