ABOUT

Our Story

Allstory Pictures

An exciting new Queensland-based production company co-founded by award-winning filmmakers Dean Gibson and Helen Morrison. With over four decades of combined experience, they are dedicated to creating impactful, culturally significant stories that resonate with audiences worldwide. Launching in 2025 as Screen Queensland Enterprise Recipients, Allstory Pictures builds on their long-standing creative partnership, which began in 2009.

Allstory Pictures is platform agnostic, embracing storytelling in all its forms to connect with audiences wherever they are. We believe that stories weave us together, shaping our understanding of the world and each other. All stories matter. We go where the audience is, and we go where the story leads us. Above all, we believe in the power and strength of story.

Their acclaimed work includes Incarceration Nation (2021), a Logie, SPA Award, and Bronze Lens-winning documentary for NITV, Tjitji Lullaby (2021) and Marringa Lullaby (2022) for ABC Kids, and Wik vs Queensland (2018), which premiered at the Sydney Film Festival and won the ATOM and First Nations Media Awards.  Their short film Welcome to Country (2017) has received multiple international accolades, including Best Film at Mendocino and screenings at FIFO and the Commonwealth Games Short Film Program.  Through bold storytelling and award-winning productions, Allstory Pictures is committed to amplifying under-represented voices and producing high-quality content across documentary, drama, and children’s television.
